Going to be an Aunt again!  And no, that isn’t the baby.  But that’s what it looks like right now.  For now, this baby will be called Bingo.

Another one of my best friends had a baby yesterday.  Emily gave birth to little Zoe, who was nearly two weeks early.  Zoe weighed in at 5 lbs 14 oz and is 18 inches long.  She is gorgeous!!  Congrats Em and Andy!!

Kelsie got baptized on Sunday, it was a beautiful ceremony, even though I wasn’t really sure what was going on.  It was my first time at a Catholic baptism, and only my second time in a Catholic church.  All in all it was a great and I was glad that I had the opportunity to be there.  Here’s a recent picture of my little cutie!!

I know, I said I’d post everyday and I am doing pretty good eh? Today’s post has a lot to do with hockey and Kelsie, I guess because they’re the two biggest parts of my life.

First of all, Kelsie, she is absolutely adorable! I spent the day with her, and well had my first incident. For whatever reason, I went out of my routine, and didn’t put her clean diaper underneath, and well she tinkled. It was rough, we had to wash her off a bit, and then changed her clothes. It was fun….I guess. I think when kids do things like that, you realize how much you love em, I mean come on that is kind of nasty.

Second of all, today was a HUGE day for the Blue Jackets, for those of you non hockey fans, the former Captain Adam Foote was traded on February 26 to the Colorado Avalanche. The Blue Jackets out of respect to Adam Foote didn’t name a Captain until today. We named Rick Nash, Captain of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Rick Nash was the First Overall Draft pick in the 2003 Entry Draft. It was the first time in franchise history that the Blue Jackets picked first overall and we had to make a trade to do so. Rick Nash has been an assistant captain for a while now. Now he has the reigns, he has the power to take us there. If you don’t know Nasher, and have never seen him play, I suggest you do it. Oh my goodness, I spent a few hours at my friend Kelley’s house today, she’s Kelsie’s mom, and man am I exhausted.  I know she’s not mine, but I wanted to help Kelley as much as I could, because Kyle went back to work today.  It was so fun to help her get a bath, change her diaper, put her in her clothes, take tons of pictures, and feed and cuddle her all day.  She’s an absolute cutie and I love her so much.  Anyway, I have a few goals for myself that I want to try in the next week or so, so if you care…here we go…

• I want to cook meals at least three times in the next week.  I tend to eat out way too much so this will help me save some money.
• All my laundry needs to get done.
• Finish reading my book that I have to write a review on, and then come up with questions for the interview with the author.
• Organize my room.
• Blog on here every single day.

That’s about it.  I am going to head to bed.  I am sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy.  Night!!

Well, here she is my little cutie!!  Well not mine, but you get the idea.  She is such a cutie, and changes every single day!  I can’t believe that I haven’t seen her since Friday!!  Kelley’s husband goes back to work next week and I am hoping to spend some extra special time with Kelsie, and hopefully give Kelley a bit of a break.  According to Kelley, Kelsie girl likes to sleep and slept 7 hours the other night SEVEN HOURS and she’s not even a week old.  Anyway, I am sure I will post more pictures of my best friends little girl soon.  But, I adore this kid!!
