Even now that my dad has two grandkids we still don't ever see him. But you know what, my kids know the people around them who love them and see them as a priority. And you are soooo right- one day when he's all alone maybe he'll open his eyes to that fact! I know it's hard, but keep your head up and a smile and your face and know that you are awesome- even if he doesn't see that :) Good luck back at school! That is sooooo exciting!
